Energy2050 selected to be member of Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN)

Energy2050 has been selected to become a member of the Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN), the operational arm of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Technology Mechanism.

The CTCN, through its members, offers advice to developing countries on climate and energy technologies.

Prof Mohamed Pourkashanian, Head of University Energy Research, said:

“I am delighted the CTCN has selected us to become a member.

Here at Energy2050, many of our 120 clean energy experts and our colleagues at the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures are already advising and supporting communities around the world.  Membership of CTCN will allow us to offer our knowledge to even more people.”

Energy2050 and the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures will be taking part at the COP21 climate negotiations, speaking at several side events on clean energy, innovation and food sustainability.  Full details here.
